SHOWCASE YOUR ORIGINAL SIERRA NEVADA FLAVOR!

Vendor Eligibility & Requirements  
  • There is no fee to participate as a food or beverage vendor. If needed, there is a $50 electricity fee
  • Vendors must provide adequate sample portions for the full duration of the tasting event from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Attendance is expected to exceed 1,500 guests.
  • A 10×10 tent and tables will be provided. Vendors are required to bring all equipment necessary for their food preparations and storage during the event, including hand washing stations.
  • Vendors must also bring any equipment required to remain in full compliance with El Dorado County Health & Human Services regulations.
  • Booth assignment preferences will be considered in the order that completed applications are received.
  • Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths to reflect their brand and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • All participating vendors must carry a current Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy naming the Tahoe Chamber as an additional insured.
Booth Space
  • Vendors are responsible for providing their own 10’x10’ festival tent, tables, chairs, signage, and all necessary booth setup materials. No equipment will be supplied by the event.
  • No flooring or cooking equipment will be provided by the event. Vendors must bring their own if needed and ensure all equipment complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Ice, dump buckets, and other serving accessories will not be provided. Vendors must come fully prepared with everything required to safely serve and manage samples.
  • Tables  must be sturdy, stable, and used within their designated weight capacity.
  • Festival signage will be provided listing the Restaurant/Chef, Winery/Brewery/Distillery.
  • All setups must comply with El Dorado County Health & Human Services guidelines, including appropriate food handling, temperature control, and sanitation measures.
  • Power access will only be provided to those that have requested power and paid for the $50 electricity fee.
 
Set-Up & Event Details – Sample the Sierra 2025
  • Vendor set-up is allowed between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM. All booths must be fully operational and ready for guests by 12:00 PM.
  • No vehicles will be allowed into the park after 11:00 AM, so please plan accordingly for unloading.
  • Tear-down begins at 4:00 PM and must be fully completed by 6:00 PM. Early breakdown is not permitted.
  • Vehicle access for load-in and load-out is limited to 30 minutes and will take place in designated staging areas only.
  • After unloading, vendors must immediately move their vehicles to the designated event parking area.
  • Limited vendor parking is available on the property and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Due to space limitations, vendors should bring their own carts or dollies to assist with transporting items to and from their booths if needed.
  • Final logistics, including booth assignments, parking maps, and entry instructions, will be provided upon confirmation of participation.

Food & Alcohol Safety

  • Participants providing food samples are responsible for monitoring and maintaining proper food temperatures in accordance with health codes. Please see attached Temporary Food Facility requirements.
  • Participants providing food must provide all their own equipment, for holding and serving of food in accordance with the El Dorado County Health Department guidelines (ice baths, thermometers, wash stations, handwashing stations, etc. – contact the El Dorado Health Department for complete information and requirements.)
  • Participants must comply with all state and local laws regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages.

Trash Management

Sample the Sierra strives to be a “Zero Waste Event” and we ask that participating vendors help to contribute to this goal by supplying compostable items when serving your food or beverage samples. Please let us know if you would like more information on sourcing compostable items.

Additional Information

The sale of samples at the sampling booths is prohibited. The fee paid to Tahoe Chamber for the event for a tasting bracelet is the only compensation that will be collected.
