The Landing Resort and Spa is South Lake Tahoe’s premier resort is a luxury boutique hotel launched in December 2013 by Jim and Nancy Demetriades. Through their passion for and support of upscale hospitality, they have ensured that the Landing Resort and Spa becomes not only a mainstay in the South Lake area but a contributor in the community.

Jim Demetriades’ passion for great food and wine is the idea behind his namesake restaurant “Jimmy’s”. Open to guests and locals for breakfast 7 am – 1130 am, lunch 12 pm – 3 pm and dinner 5 pm – 930 pm, Jimmy’s serves a little fusion of Eastern Mediterranean dishes with a California touch. From our very popular “Smashed Avocado” and assorted Benedict’s to traditional Greek donuts “Loukoumades”, lamb/beef/chicken Gyros with homemade “Tzatziki” sauce to roasted lamb, beef filet, ribeye, daily fish selection that are all prepared over a wood fired grill and oven. Additionally more traditional Greek staples such as Baklava, Moussaka, Yemista, Keftedes and Kataifi wrapped Feta are all recipes brought to us through the Demetriades family.

In addition to great food, Jimmy’s also has a showcase wine cellar with over 320 position and 2400 bottles from around the world. Both new and old world wines, carefully selected to complement our menu. Greek whites, Italian reds, California Cabs and Chardonnay’s.   Come in, enjoy some live music, a lovely charcuterie board and select a wine to share and relish in the daily sunset!
