The vendor pairings for the 6th Annual Sample the Sierra have been announced. Approximately 54 local restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries, farmers and producers will participate in the one-day farm-to-fork festival on Sunday, September 6 at Bijou Community Park in South Lake Tahoe, CA.

The pairings for this year’s Sample the Sierra are as follows:

  • Blue Angel Café with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
  • Boathouse on the Pier with Andis Wines
  • Cold Water Brewery & Grill
  • Echo Lounge at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel with Madroña Vineyards
  • Kalani’s with Vino Noceto
  • La Isla… Tropical Cuisine of Lake Tahoe with Tahoe Moonshine Distillery
  • MacDuff’s Pub with Nello Olivo Wines
  • Primo’s Italian Bistro with BellaGrace Vineyards
  • Riva Grill with Crystal Basin Cellars
  • Sierra Pizza with FOLK Brewing Co.
  • Sweet Party with Dry Diggings Distillery
  • The Getaway Café with Lava Cap
  • Winey Munkies with Boeger Winery
  • Great Basin Brewing Company
  • Lake Tahoe Golf Course with Tahoe Blue Vodka

Tastings begin at 12 p.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Festival goers have the opportunity to vote for the Best Tasting Experience during the festival by choosing the pairing they enjoyed the most. The festival marketplace will open at 12 p.m. and entertainment, including live music, a cooking demo with cookbook author Joanne Neft and the 4th Annual Sierra Chef Challenge, also begins at 12 p.m. until the festival closes at 5 p.m. Buy your tickets now!
