Culinary enthusiasts will gather at Ski Run Blvd.on Sunday, September 4 from 12-5pm to enjoy the region’s bounty at the 2nd Annual Sample the Sierra festival.  Showcasing the best offerings fromEl DoradoCounty chefs, winemakers, and growers, this farm to fork festival features nearly 30 vendors spotlighting art, activities, marketplace items, and live music, in addition to expert pairings of food and wine throughout the day.

 

 

 

Shannon Witt of Four Seasons Soup & Salad Café will continue her relationship with Stacey Hamburg at Hungry Mother Organics, using certified organic produce in an eclectic kick on the popular cold soup, gazpacho.  DK Cellar’s Dave and Kim Pratt, complete the partnership, poring cellar worthy wine that honors the centuries old traditions from the vineyards.

Tickets for the 2nd Annual Sample the Sierra are available in advance online at www.samplethesierra.com or at the event via cash, there will be an ATM.

$25 includes admission, and food and wine sampling.
